Social Programme
All events of the social program are included in the registration fee.
Monday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.: A welcoming drink will be served at the Conference Office in Hotel Erzherzog Rainer.
Tuesday 8 p.m.: Reception by the Mayor of Wien in the Rathaus (City Hall), Stadtsenatssitzungssaal, Entrance Lichtenfelsgasse2.
Sandwiches, snacks, beer and wine will be served.
Wednesday 7 p.m.: One-hour guided tour through the City of Wien.
Thursday 2 p.m.: Bus trip to Mödling, a small town at the edge of the Wienerwald (Vienna woods). We will take a one hour walk through the Wienerwald. (There is a possibility to visit a coffee house instead of this walk.) Next we will take a sightseeing tour through the romantic town Mödling. After sightseeing we will enjoy a Heurigen buffet and wine at the Heurigen.
Friday 6 p.m.: Reception by the Rektor of the Technische Universität Wien, Prof. Peter Skalicky, in the Festsaal (Main building, Karlsplatz 13, 1. Stock).
